How were the Perspectives Reader and Study Guide Developed?

The Perspectives Course was not developed from a single specific Bible translation. The Editor of the Perspectives Study Guide, Steve Hawthorne, utilized various English translations including those based on various bodies of ancient manuscripts (ex. Textus Receptus (KJV) and Alexandrian (NIV, NASB, etc.).  Dr. Hawthorne is also proficient in biblical languages and operates out of and translates from the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts.  
The Perspectives Reader is a collection of articles from 152 different authors spanning about 250 years of authorship. The biblical quotes, references, and teaching from these articles also span a variety of translation uses.
