Audio Versions of the Perspectives Reader and Study Guide

An audio recording of the Perspectives Reader (1999 Edition) is available for those with visual impairment or reading disabilities through Learning Ally.

Learning Ally is a non-profit membership organization. It requires proof of student's disability, a $100 start-up fee and a $35 annual fee. Students must purchase a special CD player ($200 and up) or download software and activation keys ($40 and up) to play them on their computer. (Fees are not controlled by Perspectives and are subject to change by Learning Ally.) They will not play on any other type of digital media player (this is for compliance with U.S. laws since students do not have to pay for copyrighted material for the disabled). Once students are set up, all of their 109,000 titles (primarily educational books) are available at no cost unless you want faster shipping.

There is no other audiobook version of Perspectives available at this time, although William Carey Publishers hopes to produce one in the future.

Although the Perspectives books are not available in the audiobook format, William Carey Publishers, the official supplier of our books, does offer the "Combined Reader and Study Guide" only, in the Kindle read-aloud version that works on some Kindle models and they offer a similar version for non-Kindle devices such as iBooks, where a read-aloud option is available. This is only available on the combined Reader and Study Guide and only through William Carey Publishers. It is available at the following link:
