I am trying to update my profile and I get an error message that my email is already in use.

Problem

User cannot update profile information due to email in use error.

Solution

  1. Emails must be unique to each user.  Free email is available from many places on the web including Gmail.  If the email is already in use the profile of the user may not be updated.
