What do I do if I want to drop a class?

Online Classes:

Please let your Online Class Coordinator and the Online Class Administrator, Melissa Barron, know of your desire to drop the class.  Students who request to drop after the 4th week of class will be encouraged to remain in the class until its end, even if they don't complete any more work, in order to obtain alumni status and the lower class prices as an alumnus. The Online Class Administrator will explain the pricing benefit of alumni status for re-enrollment in a future class.

The Online Class Administrator will inform the student about what amount of refund they will receive if any. The refund amount will depend on the time that the student expresses their intent to drop from the class.  If the student opts to drop the class please be aware that refunds will be given by check regardless of tuition payment method.
